Charlotte Salay, age 91, born in Chicago, Illinois on September 1, 1929, passed away on January 12, 2021 in New Port Richey, Florida surrounded by loved ones. Daughter of Charles and Estelle Marshall and beloved wife of the late Frank Salay, Charlotte is survived by daughters Lynn and Nancy, loving grandchildren Tim, Meaghan and Dylan, sister Audrey, and adoring nieces and nephews. Charlotte received her art degree from Triton College, and went on to paint many pictures that we all cherish to this day. She found beauty in the rolling hills, the highest peaks, and the deepest depths of this world. She was a lifelong traveler, lover of music, and an avid reader whose mind felt most at home in the pages of her books and in the company of cherished friends and family. Charlotte was a devout Catholic and active member of the St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, who always valued the power of helping others in need. Her loving spirit never dimmed, and that light will live on in everyone who loved her.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 @ 10:00am at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 4843 Mile Stretch, Holiday, Florida.
